Challenges at every step

The Relic Bosses are a system in Luna Obscura to provide access to all bosses for all players.

While you can find the bosses roaming around the maps as usual, you can also get relics that are related to them, and when used, will summon the boss directly for a fight.

Obtaining Relics

  • Relics can be dropped at a rate of 0.25% from any monster on the same area of the boss.
  • By finishing a quest about the boss in the area, you also will be rewarded with one relic.
  • By finishing all quests for a given area, you will receive a Badge. Having it equipped adds a 0.05% chance that any monster killed may drop the relic from the badge's area.

Limitations and Mechanics

  • Relics are not consumed if used in the wrong map or when another boss is already alive.
  • Using a Relic will summon the boss after a brief cast time. It also will show where the regular roaming boss is/when it will spawn if already dead.
  • A map cannot have more than one boss summoned by a Relic at the same time. If someone summons a boss this way, using the relic will fail. It will not be consumed. It will also show where the current boss is.
  • All Bosses are free for all, even if summoned from a Relic.
  • Bosses from Relics have the same drops as the naturally spawned, roaming bosses, but they have half the regular drop rate for their loot.
  • Reminder that bosses in Luna Obscura have considerably higher drop rates compared to regular monsters.
