Costumes

Looking your best

The Stylist Interface
The Stylist Interface

Costumes are a key part in Luna Obscura, as nobody wants to look bad while they are fighting monsters.

There is a large variety of ways to change how your character look. And the best of all: All of them obtainable ingame.

For those who just want to show their style or look cool, options will be available as soon as you finish the tutorial, while there will be those ultra rare costumes from the hardest challenges, or the endurance challenges that take hours upon hours of farming or questing to get. The key point is that costumes are essential in the evolution and exploration of the game.

While plenty of choices will be available, they will not be detailed and must be found ingame.

Types of Costumes

Unlike regular RO, where some hats provide stats, all costumes are 100% cosmetic and provide no gameplay benefits. Not to mention the usual upper/mid/lower hat slots were replaced. Details for the new Badge/Tool/Pouch slots that replaced regular hats are in the Equipment page.

As for the costumes, they can be equipped in the secondary equipment tab.

Top Costume: Includes all manners of hats and other upper headgear items.
Mid Costume: Includes facial items and eyes/ears alterations.
Bot Costume: Includes scarves, neck items and mouth costumes.
Garment Costume: Usually rare costumes, they are displayed in the back of the character and can range from backpacks to weapons, umbrellas and the like.
Special Dye: Unique dyes that change the clothes color while equipped. They are non-consumable.
Legendary Items: Some specific legendary items provide unique visuals to the character when worn.

Consumable Dyes

Some dyes for hair and clothes are one-time-use only and are lost when used or overwritten. They are properly described as such and are always located in the consumable items inventory tab.
