Evolving World

The world of Orchestria is constantly changing, and part of this agency comes from the players themselves.

While they can interact with quests, hunting, or just socializing, these are all aspects that affect their individual experiences.

However, some actions can affect the game itself. These are listed here for ease of access and understanding.

Call to Arms

These are live events that happen semi randomly. Usually following specific messages ingame over a given amount of hours/days.

In Call to Arms, a major situation takes place, and players are instructed to handle them accordingly.

These events have a win condition and a defeat condition, usually with server-wide consequences.

Examples:

- Zombies are raiding the Cathedral, defend it. Players who are killed will not be able to re-join.

If players win: All zombie monsters have increased exp/drop rate. A new item is available on the shop to increase dmg vs zombies.

If players fail: All zombie monsters have their exp/drop rate halved. Doubled cultist amounts on maps.


- A large scale hunt for a specific monster is taking place to research its properties on energy.

If players win: All SP Regen speed increased by +5%.

If players fail: Cathedral funds reduced by 2 levels.

These may or may not be permanent, depending on the case.

Any time a Call to Arms happens, an announcement will be made on Discord and ingame with proper time to prepare for it.

Seasons

Seasons are permanent additions of content to Luna Obscura. They happen on the server and there is no separation. They also are not restricted to new characters in any way (while a specific job being played is recommended.)

They can also bring alterations and changes in the world itself and its features.

Seasons will last 2-3 months and always be themed and named. They will come with large patches with new dungeons, gear, new Abyss of Sinners floor (endgame longdungeon) and such.

- When season starts, everyone will know what was the least played job in the previous season. One for Astral and one for Umbral.

- During that season, characters created with that job will have a unique Legendary Item that awards drops of tokens. They also will get specific rewards at certain leveling milestones as well as unique challenges tailored to that job. The idea is that you are incentivated to try a new job and find ways to make it work.

- The first player to get to Lv100 with that job will get a special reward to be decided.

- Players with other jobs will also get tokens, at a reduced chance. As long as the character was created after season started.

- At the end of the season, the side between Astral and Umbral with the most tokens will win the season and the Cathedral will be decorated with their colors for the next season. That side also will get a new cosmetic themed around their jobs added.

Cathedral Growth

Zeny can be donated to Headmaster Kaine in order to unlock services and new features in the Cathedral of Blades.

- Every level requires a given amount in zeny to be donated. This amount increases every level. - The price to reset stats and skills reduces by 1% per level.

Specific Milestone levels also unlock new features, such as more enchantment materials, more systems and such.

Players also are rewarded with Points they can exchange for rewards directly with Kaine.

Nocturne Growth

Zeny can be donated to Wallace the Economist in order to unlock services and new features in the city of Nocturne.

- Every level requires a given amount in zeny to be donated. This amount increases every level. - Every level adds +1 new item to be purchased somewhere in the city.

Specific Milestone levels also unlock new features, such as remote storage access, more systems and such.

Players also are rewarded with Points they can exchange for rewards directly with Emma.
