Tailor-made for You

The Weapon Forms are ways to customize the weapons you use in Luna Obscura.
Given that there is a limited arsenal of weapons for each job, and them being locked to the owner, the forms allow players to customize them to specific needs.
Be it a specific use case, a broad-use variation or a gimmick build, the correct weapon form can make the difference.
Forms are a key part of the weapons of Luna Obscura, since there are no weapons you can loot, you need to make your crafted weapons count.
Brehem being the inventor of the hunter weapons is the only one equipped to work on them for you, just make sure to bring him the required materials as well as some monetary incentive.
Forms can be changed as many times as needed. There are no limits or risks.
The Forms

Weapon Forms can be changed through the use of the gemstones, and they come in 4 versions:
Masterwork: Improve the properties the weapon already has, like attack and basic stats.
Bloodstained: Adds properties that push aggressive combat, like extra combo effects or synergies.
Expert: Adds unique aspects of in-depth systems like status interactions and conditions.
Prototype: Changes the weapon gameplay overall to provide a unique system or major change.
The current weapon form of an item can be identified by the small icon on the weapon itself, and it's unique description window visuals.
The [Look] Button on the description window allows for checking what each form does for the weapon.
Gemstones and Requirements

Changing weapon forms can be done by talking to Inventor Brehem, located in the Cathedral of Blades.
Different Gemstones are required to change the Weapon Form, depending on the weapon level and the form you want.
You can find Gemstone Shards as drops and other locations and create the upper tiers of Gemstones.
Note that they have similar power and one may not be an upgrade compared to another, despite higher costs.
Success chance is always 100%.
