Presentation and function working together
The Interface of Luna Obscura is unique but still keeps the familiarity and responsiveness of the classic RO experience.
Luna Obscura was built on top of the 2024 Zero Client , a unique branch of the game where changes were made to modernize and update the game. Then changes were made further fit what you see today.
SO far, over 900 game files were changed in order to provide the visual update needed for Luna's theme, and at least 200 hex edits were done to the client, both for stability, capacity and features.
Below you can see the main updates and features that can be found on the menu, and its proper visual identity.
Every UI element done in Luna Obscura is done in-client, with native compatibility and performance, avoiding the possible sync issues and delays with overlays or external DLLs. But it stills done inside RO's client, which also brings the usual "RO Jank" and cannot be fixed completely.
